   Cancellation Policy

Marina Terraces's Cancellation Policy
  • You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 2 days prior to arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, Marina Terraces will charge you one night's accommodation for each apartment that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

Not1Night’s Policy of Cancellations and Changes
  • Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.



   Deposits Policy

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.  In addition, Marina Terraces will charge your credit card the balance of the accommodation cost at the time of booking.


   Location

By car from Cairns Airport (1 to 1.5 hours): Leaving the airport, turn right onto Captain Cook Highway and head north, following Mossman/Port Douglas signs for 80km. At the approach to Port Douglas, turn right and follow Port Douglas Road for 7km.
Marina Terraces is situated on the right hand side, between Mowbray and Macrossan Streets.
By bus from Cairns or Cairns Airport: Transfers can be arranged at an additional charge. If required please call the number on your Booking Confirmation for arrangements. You will be met at the airport and brought straight to the door.  Google Map

Do as much or as little as you like, its your holiday, but make sure you take time to explore the natural wonders that surround Port Douglas.
The Great Barrier Reef is awesome, amazing and magnificent. Your memories of this world beneath the sea will be with you forever. Choose snorkelling, diving, fishing, sailing or just cruising there is a reef tour that suits everyone. Reef tours depart from the Marina Mirage which is just a stroll from Marina Terrace Holiday Apartments.
From Mossman to Daintree to Cape Tribulation and the Bloomfield River you can experience the most unique and primeval rainforest in the world. The overwhelming beauty of this region will leave you in awe. A variety of day tours are available from bushwalking, birdwatching, interpretive heritage tours and 4WD safaris. You can also choose to self-drive.
Cape Tribulation is only an hours drive away. Do a cruise on the Daintree River for a bout of crocodile spotting, experience the thrill of Jungle Surfing, take a guided rainforest walk, sample exotic fruit and taste homemade ice cream.
For the more adventurous, there's horse riding, white water rafting, helicopter flights, bungee jumping and hot air ballooning on offer in the area, or take a real trip on the wild side and visit the Cairns Wildlife Safari Reserve near Mareeba to check out the lions on African Night.
For those with a hankering of activities of a more sedate nature, theres Breakfast with the Birds or Lunch with the Lorikeets at the Rainforest Habitat.

Why not take a lunch or sunset crocodile cruise on the Lady Douglas, a paddle boat that plies along the Port's inlet.
Learn more about Port's history by visiting the Court House Museum or following the Port Douglas Historical Society's self guided walk around town. You can also try a tour of the Mossman Mill to find out about the sugar cane industry or perhaps a guided Dreamtime Walk through Mossman Gorge with one of the Ku Ku Yalangi people to experience Aboriginal culture.
Pack an esky with beer, wine and a few locally caught prawns and head to Rex Smeal Park to watch the boats returning from the Reef or experience a unique dinner in the Rainforest with Flames of the Forest.
Have a go at celebrity spotting from one of the numerous restaurants or cafes along Macrossan and Wharf Street or the boardwalk dining on offer at the Marina. Catch a show at the Clink Theatre or at Diane's Cilento's famous Karnak Amphitheatre.
If golfs your game, there are three courses in close proximity, two in Port Douglas and one in Mossman. Or perhaps you'd prefer to be a spectator and watch the local AFL or Rugby teams play a game at the sports complex during the winter months.
