Karratha is a town adjoining the port of Dampier in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Karratha is located approximately 1,535 km north of Perth and 850 km south of Broome on the North West Coastal Highway, north of Perth and 850 km south of Broome on the North West Coastal Highway.
