Constructed in 1913 as a grand mansion for Arthur Waterhouse in 1913, the Princes Lodge Motel and later converted to a motel, were converted into a Motel in the 1970s offering 23 rooms of various styles and proportions. Built on two large blocks the hotel offers green space at the rear to relax in, a balcony with views over the historic parklands to the Adelaide Hills and space to park your car. The Main Building has 2 levels with the upper level accessible by stairs only. The Coach House is ground floor only and has level access from the carpark.
The Adelaide Princes Lodge Motel offers three standards of room: the Deluxe Rooms are located in the Main house and offer more space with the comfort of high ceilings, large windows and private en-suite facilities. The Budget Rooms are located on the upper floor of the Main Building with private (not shared) shower facilities outside your room, along the corridor. Offering great value for money, the Standard Rooms and are located on the ground floor in the Coach House with smaller ensuite shower facilities.
